“Following a recommendation from a colleague…, we contacted Lichfield Treeworks regarding a sizeable branch that had fallen from the tree in our rear garden on the previous night. ….with heavy winds forecast, we were concerned about the condition of the tree, especially since it was approximately 25 metres in height, and close to the adjacent property.
We spoke to Nick Meade of the company late morning, and by early that same afternoon, he visited the property to assess the state of the tree.
…Throughout the visit, Nick was professional, friendly and made it evident that his judgement was one to be trusted.
It was decided that the tree would need to be removed completely.
…Despite his advice, it was made very clear that we were under no obligation to use the services of Lichfield Treeworks, and were free to seek advice from other firms.
…We unreservedly chose the firm (Lichfield Treeworks) to continue with the works… we did not pursue quotes from other companies, but have been assured by a colleague familiar with the cost of such works that the quote from Lichfield Treeworks was more than competitive.
The removal of the tree took a day….they were careful with the surrounding garden area and their work was clearly carried out competently and professionally….
The garden was left in a better state than when they arrived !
